| osd.ch's main goal was to act as an interface between the german market for software and IT services and
foreign service providers and software developers.
The company was founded in September 2000 in order to market and organize IT consulting
services provided by Excelsior, LLC, a
company specialized in systems design and software development tools and
xTech, LLC, whose primary focus is web-application development.
Apart from acting as an agent for foreign software developers, osd.ch provided software
localization services for the german speaking market, e.g. by
translating documentation, software and marketing material.
